Before the end of May each year, NAPGC Member Clubs will stage a Club Level Qualifying Round over 18 holes stroke play which may be held in conjunction with one of their club medal rounds. The results are forwarded together with the Club Qualifying Entry Fee to the Championship Organiser on specially prepared summary sheets, available from this website and a competition result sheet from a CONGU approved software system.
Each Club will be entitled to 6 qualifiers made up from the top results in both divisions.
At the Championship Finals play will be stroke play over 18 holes in two divisions - Division 1, 18 and below and Division 2 from 19 to 36.
The following trophies will be awarded at the National Final:
NAPGC Championship Trophy - Best gross score (Division 1)
The Mike Murphy Trophy - Best nett score (Division 2)
The winners of the trophies will be granted entry to the next Championship Final in order to defend their titles, subject to them still being playing members of a Club affiliated to the NAPGC.
