In order to enter the competition a club must play a qualifying round, the results of which must be sent to the Competition Organiser before the end of May each year. The overall nett and gross winners plus the winner of each division in the club qualifying round will qualify for the Regional Finals to be played in July/August, (See rules for additional qualifiers)
At the Regional Finals the exact numbers of qualifiers for the National Finals will be decided in relation to the number playing in the Regional Finals (larger Regions may have more qualifiers). The details of qualifiers from each Regional Final will be displayed at the check in desk. The National Final will be 18 holes of stableford play off full handicap in three Divisions:-
Men's Division One 10 and below
Men's Division Two 11 to 16
Men's Division Three 17 to 28
