The Bourne Vanneck remains a very popular event with 3 man teams playing an aggregate medal format. There were 15 teams at the final, held at Shefield Oaks. The course was in great condition and play was in general completed in very good time for a final. The competition itself was very close, with Brent Valley prevailing in the gross on 237 from Wycombe Heights A on count back. The nett was even closer with a three-way tie going the way of Rose Hill on 225 from Wycombe B and Wycombe A. Individual honours went to Mo Lone from Rose Hill with a nett 70, and Dougie Rae with a gross 77, which was extremely close and won on a 5-way countback.
